OAPSO offers several membership categories: Full [Corporate or Individual], Associate, Honorary, Life, and Venerable.Full Members are typically Property Standards Officers employed by any level of government, either directly or by contract. Associate Members are individuals who are not Property Standards Officers but have an interest or involvement in property standards legislation or education.Other membership categories are detailed in OAPSO By-Law No. 1-2025.

A Member in Good Standing is one who meets the membership requirements under Section 1.06 of By-Law 1-2025 and has paid the appropriate membership fee.

The Membership Term runs annually from January 1 to December 31.
